2017 | David Scott Parker Architects | Rancho Santa Fe, California
In southern California, this Mission-style residence is being built in collaboration with interior designer Lorraine Letendre. Designed around views of a nearby lake, the interior spaces open to outdoor terraces and hidden gardens.
My involvement with this project involved design development, construction documentation, and coordination with consultants, suppliers, and fabricators.
In particular, I designed a heavy timber tennis pavilion, taking the design from schematics to construction documentation. I also designed a glass-bottomed pool in close communication with the builder and the German fabricator, and a fireplace/grille/pizza oven combination set within a glass covered steel pergola.
Construction is expected to be complete summer 2018.
